This workshop attracted people with varied interests and background, including physics, computer science and mathematics. As a pure mathematician I sometimes find results that give me the feeling that are suitable for applications in one or another direction. In this workshop I had a very good opportunity to discuss one particular such result with people who showed interest on it. It is likely that this will trigger future publications (individual or joint) in that topic. Besides that, it is always useful to hear what other people are doing in areas related to mine to have a better feeling on what is a good problem to attack, what may already be known, and what seems hard to relate to other areas.
